Planned lecture

Claude Haillot, ENAC, will present his lecture on Aviation safety - Aircraft airworthiness awareness. His lecture will teke place 19th March 2012 at Zilina airport.

Planned lecture

Ing. Peter Choroba, PhD. will present his lecture on EUROCONTROL, SESAR, wake turbulence separation, time-based separations, RECAT project and ATM Performance. His lecture will teke place 21th December 2011 at 8:00 at Zilina airport room L2.

Lectures

Rich Moxon delivered his two lectures dedicated to Landside and terminal operations and 24 hours in the life of an airport manager. Rich addressed the following aspects in his lecture: functions of a passenger terminal, airport passenger processes, surface access modes, commercial PAX services, main challenges in airport management from a daily operational perspective, importance of proactive planning in airport operational management, business partnership relationships required to provide great service.

 


Keith Mason delivered his lecture on Low Cost Carriers. The lecture foccussed on the following aspects: the low-cost sector in Europe and in Asia, european LCC growth, low-cost airline strategy, market stimulation, average frae trends, LCC benchmarking methodology.

1. PONUKA:

Trainee computer programmer

The ASAP software programming department requires an employee to train as a computer programmer . This is a permanent position.

Position requirements:

Language skills
                                - English - to a high standard
Computer skills
                                - C# - intermediate
                                - .Net - basic
                                - MS Office

Highly desirable requirements:

                                - Interest in aviation
                                - CAD knowledge (i.e. Autocad)
Preferences:
No preferences as to year as these are trainee positions (Computer Programmer, Aeronautical cartographer). We will train the employee but they must have a high level of English.
